If you are a foreigner and you wish to enter Mexican territory by sea, to perform aquatic activities
or practice sport fishing, we inform you that there is currently a format that allows you to do it
easily and safely.
You need to fill the online form through the virtual site of the National Institute of Migration,
considering the information regarding arrival and exit from the country, along with the list of
people on board. Once the document is generated, it must be sent by email attach the
corresponding rights payment to the Local Delegation of the Institute in Ensenada, Baja California.
The INM will inform the authorization and will grant the status of visitor without for remunerated
activities for the time requested, while the person doesn’t exceed their stay of 180 days and
without permission to multiple entrance and exits, with a copy of the agreement to the Sectretaría
de Marina (SEMAR) and the Secretaría de Comunicaciones y Transportes (SCT).
