Laura Montes Romero is an Intellectual Property specialist with over 15 years of experience advising companies on the protection of trademarks, patents, copyrights, and complex litigation, both in Mexico and abroad. She is a graduate of the Law School of the National Autonomous University of Mexico, with a specialization in Intellectual Property Law from the same institution.
She joined KNR Abogados in 2017 and, in recognition of her leadership and trajectory, became a partner in July 2022. She currently leads the Intellectual Property department, where her practice includes managing international portfolios, drafting specialized contracts, and defending IP rights before the Federal Court of Administrative Justice and collegiate courts. She has represented clients in international forums such as the International Trademark Association (INTA) and the Inter-American Association of Intellectual Property (ASIPI), where she is an active member of the trademark committee.
